Hey all,
So I have already sent in my applications and disclosed a couple of minor things on C&F that won't matter. Anyway, I just realized that I was in fact subject to sanctions (albeit minor, to the point of where I had to write a 1 page paper for one thing and watch a powerpoint for another). I'm going to disclose it, after checking with my undergrad to make sure that it was the case that I was officially sanctioned (one happened a while ago, one more recently for drinking just before I turned 21). My question is: will the fact that I already sent in my apps (most of them aren't complete yet but will be soon) hurt me since I did not disclose it originally? I'm going to just tell the truth and explain that it slipped my mind because they were such minor things.

No it shouldn't hurt you. As long as you disclose it you should be fine. I have to do the same thing because I forgot about a speeding ticket I had from ages ago.

I had a similar thing happen. I freaked out.

First, double check everything you have on paper to make sure you didn't include it. Then, if it turns out that you didn't, call the schools you applied to you and tell them what's up. They will likely ask you to email it an additional paragraph or whatever to them. Its not a big deal, and as long as you give them a head's up first, they should be pretty understanding. It didn't harm my apps at all; I got into the schools I expected to get into.
