Advice for pass/fail grades at MIT

I went to MIT for two years (transferred out) at the time when they counted the first year only as pass / fail... the annoying part is, that was probably my best year for grades ... and it would def. boost my GPA if it actually counted... do you think it's worth mentioning to them what my actual grades were at all? perhaps in a LOCI if I get waitlisted... I guess there is no official record of them though, damn....

At my university, freshman first semester grades were also covered. The actual grades were still recorded, however, and it was possible for students to request that their first semester grades be reported on their transcript, instead of the usual S (satisfactory) or U (unsatisfactory) designations. Perhaps MIT has a similar policy.
