Do I need to update my GPA on an already-submitted app?

When I sent in my application to Texas, for my GPA I put what my online transcript said on my school's website, though this number was a tiny bit different from what the undergraduate GPA was calculated as by the lsac. This GPA was calculated with only about half of my grades for the semester, since I hadn't received the rest to factor them into the number.

So, I'm not sure if that was a very clear explanation (I'm going to blame that on lack of sleep), but I was wondering if I should get in touch with Texas about this, or if it doesn't matter since they have my transcripts and my lsdas GPA already.

Assuming that your GPA did not drop, submit an updated transcript including all fall semester grades to LSAC, and then tell UT to be expecting it. Also tell UT that the number on your application was from a partial tally due to the timing of your application, explaining the discrepancy.
