Wake awarded me a 28,000 scholarship which leaves a balance of 7500 per year and requires top 2/3 for renewal.
FSU gave me 12,000 which leaves a balance of 2000 (FL resident) per year and requires top 40% to renew.

I have bad credit history so I really need this $. HELP PLEASE.

What do you plan on doing after law school? Where do you plan on practicing? These questions are really important. Also which state do you currently claim residency?

I want to work for a law firm, not necessarily Biglaw or anything like it. I am a Fl resident by accident, I have been working over a year in Miami.

It seems academically Wake has a stronger reputation and FSU is hardly know out of FL. I am worried that I will regret going to FSU based on the financial reasons.

I think you should go to FSU if you plan on staying in Florida. They seem to have good placement from within the state. Outside of Florida, I would personally probably choose wake forest. If you are looking at a region other than the south though, it wouldn't hurt to go to schools that are stronger in those regions.

I have smilar options. I would go for Wake, but that is because I absolutely liked the school.

I really doubt Wake will give you more options outside the immediate area than FSU outside FL. If you don't prefer Carolina over Florida, go to FSU. 2000 a year is amazing.

I say don't go to either. Solve your credit problems first go to a better school next.
