Dumb question, but is there a way to request fee waivers and actually get them? If so, how? What's the turn around time on responses? thanks.

Email the specific schools admissions and just request a fee waiver. I included my LSAC account number, GPA and LSAT score. It should take anywhere from 1-3 days to hear back with some schools getting back to you on the same day.
