If I am emailing admission offices to ask for fee waivers, do I need to include my LSAC account #? Is that all I am to these schools a # or would they know me by my name?

can't comment on the second part but they need your LSAC number to grant you a fee waiver so you should just send it. at best it will speed up the process.maclaw2010 wrote:If I am emailing admission offices to ask for fee waivers, do I need to include my LSAC account #? E-mail an admissions office with your name and LSAC # as well as strong numbers (LSAT or GPA or both) and say that you're interested in applying and would appreciate a fee waiver.doubled99 wrote:Can asking for a few waiver ever hurt your chances? If not, how do you go about asking for one, as I too would like to save some $ on app fees. lol
Someone posted earlier today that WUSTL got back to them in less than an hour with a fee waiver. But it varies. A handful of admissions offices have yet to even reopen after the break, and some will take a few days to respond. Also, how long is the usual response time?
WUSTL responded that they would happily grant me a waiver in 11 minutes.BenJ wrote:E-mail an admissions office with your name and LSAC # as well as strong numbers (LSAT or GPA or both) and say that you're interested in applying and would appreciate a fee waiver.doubled99 wrote:Can asking for a few waiver ever hurt your chances? If you are rude or entitled-sounding about it, it can.doubled99 wrote:Can asking for a few waiver ever hurt your chances?
