I'm pissed because I applied for an LSAC fee waiver a week before my Dec. LSAT score was released, so I have no idea what my score is. So I'm trying to estimate my score.

Since scores were released, I've received these fee waivers.

UVA
UCLA
Duke + priority track

None of these schools had access to my transcripts (sent from school today), so they are granting these fee waivers solely on my LSAT score.

Seems Duke PT would be the most reliable indicator of my LSAT score, but I'm not sure.

Thoughts? I'm hoping for 170+, but I don't know if any of those fee waivers would indicate that.

I'm pissed about applying for the LSAC fee waiver, though I'm happy that it is granted because it will save me some $$. I just wish I would have done it in like October rather than December 21.

Duke sent me a fee waiver in October after a 163 LSAT score. So they aren't super-picky. UVA has been sending out fee waivers to anyone and everyone recently. I wouldn't read anything into these waivers.

I believe that if your file is on hold because of a fee waiver request, they will NOT send your score to schools. I could be mistaken, but you could always call LSAC if you really want to know.

did Duke send you priority track admissions? I was under the impression that they only sent those to people with near auto-admit numbers. i could be wrong though.

I'm pretty sure they have access to my LSAT, because I am able to apply with said LSAT score, and all of the fee waivers have sections like "due to your outstanding performance on your LSAT, we would like to waive your application fee..." la da da.

And my LSAT is the only information that they had when sending the waivers, since I didn't send my transcripts until today.

Also, a search of the forums shows that schools do have access to your LSAT score if there is a hold on your account.

If your dog took the LSAT, UVA would probably send it a fee waiver.

So I've heard. Anyone know that stats for Duke PT?

I think they give them out for 168+, but I'm not 100 percent sure.

i haven't gotten a fee waiver from duke and i want one! arrrgh. asked for one and no response yet.

I got duke and uva waivers with a 159 after june. don't bother.

general fee waiver aren't an indicator of much. But priority track is a different story. It seems that PT goes out to ppl with a score in at least the high 160s. And congrats. Priority track isn't exactly telling you you're an auto-admit... but its pretty darn close. (And if nothing else at least you get a decision in 10 days).

Duke PT is most generally given to candidates with between a 169 and 173. There's a pretty good chance your score lies in there.

Thanks all. Read the original post to see why I don't have my score. Its frustrating since I paid for the LSAT before applying for the fee waiver. I'll be happy with 169-173, so I really hope thats the case. I'd be happier with higher, but I won't complain.

Friend with a 3.9, 169 got Duke priority track. Non-URM.

If you are not URM, I think 169 minimum is a safe bet.

I got one with a 177, so you might be higher

Dec score was 170. I'm oddly disappointed, but happy to break 170.
