3.5, 162, URM

Here is where I have applied so far:
UW-Madison (in state tuition, no bar exam)
DePaul (very interested in their Aviation law program)
Notre Dame (Fee waiver)
Michigan (Fee waiver)
UVA (Fee waiver)

I am most interested in transportation issues and have work experience in the industry. I like living in the midwest, but I still want to be nationally marketable. My current applications are reach-heavy, and was trying to think of some other schools that I should apply to that are closer to my numbers...any ideas?

What kind of URM are you?

Hispanic, not Mexican or PR

How about Texas and Iowa?

You aren't going to get a URM boost. You'll get a slight diversity boost but that is it.

Those numbers don't seem to be getting into Texas this cycle, especially for out-of-state applicants.

I was wondering about that. Everyone says its Mex/PR only but I keep getting diversity targeted mailings and fee waivers from schools...

Some people do get a bigger boost than others, so apply far and wide just in case.
