Edit: Also, just got Northeastern. I wish it was Northwestern.
Solicited or un? I solicited one from them and got no response, and wound up paying to apply.

Northwestern hidden with a 171. Whatevs, pay the $75, save the $100.

Received Penn via e-mail. Also had a nice surprise in my mailbox last night -- a Stanford packet with an invitation to apply.

Received Washburn and Dayton (both the one with my last name, and the one with the apology for using my last name instead of my first) e-mails today. Using the $24 to buy hamburgers.

Why I want to go to Hastings. The burgers! But less so now that the sea lions have mysteriously disappeared from Pier 39. Sigh. If I liked their fries it'd still be clouds above the other schools. But... I don't.

(adcomms, that was a joke...)

Also received Vanderbilt via email today. It looks like they are friendly to refunds too, which is good since I submitted my app last week.

I received the e-mail less than an hour ago. Yours may still be on the way!

I just got Vandy an hour ago too. That, plus the fact that it has been horribly freezing where I live this week, means I will probably apply.

Also--don't read into Penn's waiver system. I got above a 171 and didn't get one.

It's okay. It doesn't help my self-esteem, but... I don't want to live in that region, anyway. I do have an acquaintance who started there this year. He likes it. But he also transferred from my school to Tulane... and I liked my school. I believe we have a fundamental difference in preference.

I haven't gotten anything in days. I think I'm already done applying everywhere I want, but still makes me
