Too much awesome for too few words? =PDignan wrote:I titled my Yale 250 essay: "Me: A Story of Awesomeness"spece212 wrote:Should I provide a title to my Yale 250 word essay?
By the way, I found the 250 word "requirement" to be too confining. My Yale 250 essay was 932 words.
I worried that Yale might take issue with my decision to exceed the 250-word limit, so I attached an alternate Yale 250 just in case: It's the speeding ticket addendum that I wrote for the University of Minnesota. It comes in at a lean 172 words.

I don't know for sure, but if you just included either "250 Word Essay" or "Question 7" as the third line of your header then you shouldn't have to subtract a few precious words.ArmyVet07 wrote:And would the words in the title count towards the 250?

I think the funniest part is that you applied for both Yale and the University of Minnesota. What is your top choice?

That would be ridiculous if they did.ArmyVet07 wrote:And would the words in the title count towards the 250?
As did I. One is a super reach, one is a safety. Plus Minnesota hands out fee waivers, so why not?Kretzy wrote:adameus wrote:Dignan wrote:I titled my Yale 250 essay: "Me: A Story of Awesomeness"spece212 wrote:Should I provide a title to my Yale 250 word essay?

If it does, I'm sure it requires proper grammar.Re: Does the Yale 250 word essay requires a title?
