PS Question

Post by user1234 » Mon Jul 11, 2022 10:55 am

In my personal statement, I tell a story about coming to the realization that I intend to work in my home state after finishing law school (specifically in public policy). I talk about my experience in policy and how law school will further those goals. My question is--will law schools outside of my home state see that as a negative? I am applying broadly across the T14, and I don't want it to read as having limited myself in terms of the schools I would consider attending. The statement is simply about work after graduating.

No. Law schools outside of your home state will not see your intention to work in your home state after finishing law school as a negative.
