Looking for advice on first draft

Hi guys,

I'm looking for some general content-directed advice (as opposed to sentence structure/proofreading help) about the first draft of my personal statement. I know it is inadequate, but I'm totally lost as to how to go about writing it more effectively. I'm also happy to swap statements and look over anyone else's if needed!

Thanks for taking the time to read this :)

When did people become so shy about posting their PS for public critique? I seem to recall it used to be the norm.

Sorry, I'm new on this forum. I just observed that everyone was exchanging PS via PM, so I assumed that was the norm. I've also read something from 7sage advising against posting PS on public forums for various reasons. Idk :|
