Homelessness an Okay Topic?

I was homeless for two years in undergrad. Really made it a positive experience. I remained a full-time student, and I was still working part-time and leading a public interest organization. Does this sound whiny, or is this kind of a taboo topic for a PS?

Sounds like a great topic for a PS or DS. I don't see why it would be taboo at all.

IDK if you've ever faced financial hardship (maybe from large debt, or anything), but it's kind of shameful and sometimes you think it marks you as a failure.

This may be true but it's still a potentially great personal statement.

Bad take pricon. I think it's a good topic. Execution is still key though.

I agree. I am actually going to use Spivey, since they know what they're doing. I'm a splitter, so I have to do what I can.
