Does answering this have any advantage if I identify as a male and I am a male? It says to write something if you do want to explain and/or why you don't want to explain.

The question I'm talking about asks you if you want to explain your response OR nonresponse. Just wondering if anyone has any idea if explaining either way will have any kind of benefit.A. Nony Mouse wrote:No one can answer that for you. They're asking if your gender identity matches the biology you were born with. If it does just say yes. It's an opportunity to explain that you're transgender or don't identify as any gender. If that doesn't apply to you don't worry about it.

I have to believe you're being willfully ignorant at this point. The explanation box is only for people who would identify as transgender, gender neutral, or nonconforming.pleasesendhelp wrote:The question I'm talking about asks you if you want to explain your response OR nonresponse. I really did not mean to offend nor was my intention to troll. I am being completely serious, and I do not make light of the gender question in any way. The wording of the question is simply open for anyone to answer.cavalier1138 wrote:I have to believe you're being willfully ignorant at this point. On the offchance that you're being serious, playing cute on a question that is a very serious matter for a number of people will only make you look bad.
Thank you! This was all I was asking.SweetTort wrote:You're overthinking this.
If you are cisgender, don't do anything extra.
