i have done many volunteer works for north korean defects and i am planning to write about the struggles that i had and the lessons that i learned while i was volunteering. Would this be a good topic for personal statement?

It's hard to definitively say without knowing what kind of struggles you're talking about and what kind of lessons you learned, but based on what you've given here, I think it could be interesting. Also, be sure to relate it back to law and why you decided to pursue it. I'd also get someone to proofread b/c English is not your first language
