Top Law Schools

One of the law schools I'm applying to has an optional essay basically reading, "Why should we consider you for a merit scholarship?" My stats are well above this law school's medians, and I have an impressive resume. Any tips for writing this without just listing items on my resume?

No, because it depends upon what else you have to offer & that is not within our knowledge. Might help if you wrote a trial draft first & then sought critiques.
