I like it. It's not about you, and readers don't really learn anything about you personally, BUT it was well-written and interesting (to me, anyway). It shows also that you find learning about people (and looking through tons of documents) to be interesting work, so how could that not be in your favor? I could be very wrong, but I think it works.
