Sorry, but I think that's not a very good idea. If you read PS guides and interviews with admission deans, they all strongly advise against doing something "cutesy" like that - it's almost impossible to pull off, and is almost always too corny.

Don't do anything weird or overly creative. I don't mean to sound rude or anything, but really it's not advised.

As your first step into the profession of law, I highly advise killing any creative urges. Remember, never use your own words when you can cite someone else, and always use a template. The game starts now: the goal of a PS should be for it to be completely indistinguishable from the thousands of other PS's that get written every year. No errors, no gimmicks, nothing that stands out. Clean writing, generic story, and just enough personal detail to make it seem like you didn't rip it straight out of a guidebook.

Actually, it depends both on your writing skill, and the type of school you are applying to. The type of essay you propose would come across as cutesy if not written in a convincing manner, but I actually think it could be pulled off if you have the literary chops. I'm not sure that blending in to the pack is the goal - I think the goal is more along the lines of "don't sound crazy." But the crazy essays I've seen are usually about some deep drama and read like bad therapy sessions. I don't see this topic going that way.

If you decide to take a swing at it, feel free to PM me with it. Literary constructions (such as inserting a strong narrative POV and a construction such as a tour), when handled well, produce successful essays that rank high on the memorability scale. If you're writing your drafts early, you'll have plenty of time to scrap a botched effort.
