Too brief. At least use five stars so that the law school in question can feel appreciated. On the positive side, there are no run-on sentences.

Thanks for your comments; it hurts, but I think you're right - I need to expand to include the other three stars. I was worried that it might come across as over-enthusiastic were I to send each law school five stars, but I recognize that admissions staff could feel underwhelmed if they receive anything less. At least it would insure against yield protection.

What do you guys think about adding a short paragraph addressing 'Why X law school'? I don't want it to appear too tacked-on - there's nothing in five consecutive asterisks that naturally entails it - but doesn't '*****' by itself just seem a bit impersonal for a personal statement?
