On so many levels I would avoid doing this. It's just so beyond cliche and hyperbolic that even if it were all true I think there might be more snickers than genuine interest. The fact that you're white only makes it all worse.

If this is really the true reason you want to go to law school, internalize it and let it be your drive and where you end up in a career, don't put it in your PS.

Don't do this. Talking about how PI is why you want to be a lawyer in your PS is generally a bad idea unless you have really significant PI experience before law school (like I have about four years' worth of PI experience and I didn't do it). There is basically no way to make a "I watched the news and had an epiphany about saving the world" PS not sound disingenuous, even if in reality it is 100% sincere. Your PS doesn't have to be Why Law specifically- and in your case it sounds like it probably shouldn't be.
