I like it. However, I'd cut out the last paragraph completely. I think it's unnecessary and I believe the statement would benefit from a more lighthearted final sentence/paragraph, similar to your first one.

Thank you for your comments! I took your advice and I think it looks much better. Apps are all finally submitted. Now for the wait..
