UCLA just gave me the go ahead to apply post-deadline, and I want to appear serious by including their optional essay explaining why I would be a valuable contributor to one of their programs. Plus, I'm genuinely interested in this particular program (Critical Race Studies).
I wrote the essay this morning and wanted to submit my application tonight, and I'm very anxious about the prospect of sending off an essay no one has read. Could someone quickly scan this for me and let me know if it's reasonably well-written? I don't need an in-depth analysis or anything at this point.
I'll definitely return the favor if anyone needs a personal statement looked at.
