I found a typo on my personal statement and diversity statement after I submitted my application.

I called the admissions in the law school to which I submitted my application. Basically they can add an updated essay but not replace it.

Should I correct it or stay put and hope they won't even notice?

Don't correct it. That would just draw more attention to your mess up.

don't worry. Lots of apps have typos.
