UF Law asks students to write about their academic interests/ experience
here is what i write... not finished.

My college career started in the fall of 2011. I enrolled into ___ ___ University as a legal studies major and business minor. I was accepted into the ____ Honors Program upon entrance into college. When applying to my institution’s undergraduate program, I was given the opportunity to secure a seat at ___ __ University Law School. I was among the few students who were dual admitted both into __ Undergraduate and __ School. Admission into this program was based on my high school grades, SAT score, and admission essay. My seat in NSU Law was contingent on my grades received as an undergrad. For my seat to be secured in the program, I was required to keep my cumulative GPA above a 3.6. During my time at NSU, I have maintained a GPA of 3.97.
Being an ___ undergraduate student meant being given the opportunity to network within the South Floridian community. The university offered clubs and cultural organizations. I joined the Pakistani Student Association and International Muslim Association at ___ and became the treasurer of both organizations. A leadership role in these organizations has helped me tremendously in networking to the South Floridian Pakistani Muslim community. I also became a member of the academic integrity committee where I would work alongside faculty members in hearing students appeal their accusations of academic dishonesty.
As a legal studies major, I took numerous classes relative to the law field. The most interesting of these classes was ‘Legal Research and Trial Advocacy’. In this class we learned how to conduct research like an attorney using methods such as online sources and by the books found in a law library. The second half of the course was all about trial advocacy. I learned about how a lawyer conducts themselves in the court of law. We were assigned to read a case written by The American Mock Trial Association. The class was then divided into two groups, the prosecution, and the defense. We were asked to draft opening statements, direct examination questions, cross-examination questions, and closing statements. Overall, this class went in depth about the practice of law.
During my fall 2012 semester, I was given an internship at a real estate law firm. Being employed at -___, P.A really has been a life changing experience. I learned about the practice of law and the day to day operations of what goes on in a law firm.

I think UF's "academic" statement is really silly, but I basically did what you did. I think yours is fine. From what I understand, UF is very numbers driven and stuff like this generally won't matter unless it's truly awful.

I'd take out the part about being offered a spot at Nova, because if I were a UF adcom, I'd probably just laugh at it. I think this statement should be geared more toward your interests and experience, not your particular accomplishments. That being said, I doubt this statement will make much of a difference unless it has words like "Pulitzer," "Nobel," "illiterate," or something else equally impressive/unimpressive in it.

I could be wrong, but I read this sentence as "Methods such as...by the books found in the library"
I would also say that "found in the library" sounds odd. Maybe "books" or "library books"
