question about personal statements

So I took this past February LSAT and applied in March, and heard back from most schools in April.

I took this past October LSAT, and so i will be re-applying again...i'll be applying to new schools and to some of the schools that i was rejected to previously.

My personal statement is very unique, and definitely sets me apart from the rest of the pack. My letter of rec's are strong as well. My question is for the schools that i was rejected to do I need to write a new personal statement, or do i simply just re-apply?

I'm really hoping I don't have to write another personal statement.

Can anyone please advise? Thanks!

It'll partially depend on the class of school we're talking about, but to fail safe, I'd say rewrite your statement. You don't have to pick a new topic altogether, just find another way to approach it. This will likely not matter at most schools because they'll mainly be looking for the right numbers, but it'll come off as lazy and could hurt you in that way. Just write a new statement and save yourself the trouble of worrying about it.
