how to submit personal statement via lsac

Hello,
ok so this question might sound dumb, but I need it answered ASAP. how do I submit a personal statement, which format? PDF OR WORD? because, I prefer to submit it PDF so my format stays the same. However, I read that LSAC ultimately converts the entire file to one big PDF format and sends it to the school. So, my question is do I submit it in word then? or is this only specific schools that don't accept PDF?
