International Student's Diversity Statement Question

So I am an international student from Azerbaijan, and I have classified myself as white/Caucasian on my applications.
Does that warrant me writing a diversity statement? All help is appreciated!

If you think you have something interesting to add, then go for it. Keep in kind that merely being not from America in and of itself doesn't add anything. But I'm sure you have some interesting character traits or experiences as a result of being from there you can discuss.
