sensitive topic-- is it appropriate?

Hey guys, I was thinking about writing a PS concerning sexual assault.

It happened to a friend, not me, but the fallout convinced me that I wanted to be a lawyer. I was with her every step of the way, but didn't make awesome decisions because I wanted the bastard to pay. Essentially, I had to adjust many of my intuitions about justice and the legal system. I had to accept that the law, while essentially logical, was designed to regulate human beings, who are often emotional in times of crisis. It wouldn't be graphic or exploitative. I already ran the idea by her, and she's supportive.

The first sentence: "If you don't call the police, I will."

It's got potential; while using this story to explain why you want to be a lawyer, be sure that the story shows how this story changed you as a person;

Good = use story to explain why you want to be a lawyer
Better = use story to show how this story changed your life in a positive way
Best = use story to explain why you want to be a lawyer and how you changed as a person in a positive way
