I am rewriting my personal statement. My current one does not cut the mustard when it comes to ethos, pathos & logos. I am writing about a personal experience that solely influenced me to seek law school admissions to hope to practice in a certain field of law. During this time someone helping me through became a mentor. Is it possible to fuse these two together?

Here is what I am brain storming.

Intro discuss our first meeting, what was said, what to be expected but no say WHY we met..

Second paragraph, explain the situation that led me to him, the WHY we met. discuss the situation and how it has shaped me for the better.

Third paragraph, discuss (why certain law school the PS is for.)

Conclusion - do I write as a normal conclusion, restating the facts?

I don't really know that much about personal statement, but I just feel like you shouldn't try to stick to a pre-set formula too much, especially when you have the opportunity to say something meaningful, so I like the mentor+why school idea.
However, in that line of reasoning, I don't like the "normal conclusion, restate the facts". I don't quite actually know what you mean by that, but just intuitively I feel like conclusions should be something a bit more epic than a summary of what you'd written before (esp if the before was just a page long!)
However, you didn't give that much info as to what you're actually writing about, and I am mostly speaking from intuition, so maybe even the way you think your conclusion is going to go will be great
