Top Law Schools

i have no diversity or truly tough life experiences to write about. i'm going back and forth between writing on the following two topics:

1. an extraordinarily unique job- but it has nothing to do with the legal field. simply a job that everyone is fascinated by, that few people have ever/will ever hold (but is considered 'entry-level') and wants to know more about

2. addressing what could possibly be a 'ding' on my app- quitting/resigning from an TFA/Peace Corps/AmeriCorps position before completion. it was for safety/security issues, but i still feel it reflects poorly on my resume.

thoughts, TLSers? Or should I scrap both and try to come up with something new? I want to apply the first day apps open. I'm starting as a CASA in July/August so could possibly write about that, though I will be brand-new to it. I'm also starting a year of public service in August so could write about that, but if I want to submit apps in September I feel like writing about something I've been a part of for a ~month won't sound genuine.

Will writing about #1 tell schools what they need to/should know about you?

I'd save #2 for an addendum or something, not a personal statement.

tfa is sort of different than peace corps.

I'm brand new to writing a PS, so forgive me, but what do you mean by need to/should know about me? It's an interesting life experience and I can definitely say it taught me some very handy and unique life skills. It also helped me decide I want to work in-house eventually.

They're very different, I'm aware. Trying to protect my identity. Just not sure if I should be addressing why I left/quit or if it will (and I think it will come across like that) sound like whining.

edit: also once you've come up with your topic it takes like 3 hours max to write a rough draft.

nah dude, but the combo of my job in #1 and my experience in #2 would make it ridiculously easy for someone to figure out and know who I am.

ah okay thanks. yeah i'm thinking if I make it into "and it taught me x,y,z, and it was my first "real" job blah blah taught me that i live to work" i can spin it
