Here is some background info about my life.

Born n raised in a third world country until the age of 10- years old and I moved to US with my family.

throughout my college career I held positions in a culture organization to deliver an environment of cultural awareness and ethnic enlightenment.

Work experience? I have volunteered as campaign aides for few public advocate campaigns, worked for Boards of elections, worked for NYPD for two years, and now currently work for the federal government in the Department of Homeland Security.

co-founded and managed a Retail Business which deals with diverse communities.

The place I am clueless is reading multiple PS here about people who have done internships relating to social work.

And looking at my resume and experiences I feel a bit discouraged... If anyone understands what I am trying to ask here please do help me formulate ideas as to how I should start my PS?

PROTIP: Start with a letter, that then grows into a word, then hopefully that'll turn into a sentence. A few of those will make a paragraph. A couple of those, and BAM it's a personal statement.

Do your own work. An amalgam of bullshit from tls'ers isn't going to be worth a damn.
