Between June and October I had a 13 point increase in my scores, which I believe is quite rare for most testers. I have trouble with standardized tests because I am dyslexic, but it hardly ever effects me except when I'm filling out those stupid scan-tron sheets or diagramming stuff like logic games (Things start to flip around sometimes) anyway I got my act together and practiced the hell out of it (I'm pro at bubbling now) and I did way better, even though I still didn't preform at my PT level which was about 6-8 points higher than my score.
So, is this a legit addendum or should I just let my score increase speak for itself.
Thanks!
legit. write 'er up.

With that big of a point jump I would write one.

Thanks, I appreciate the responses. I just don't want to give the admissions committee more to read, so I only wanted to submit something useful.

one concern i have about your reasoning is that basically you're saying you didn't work on it before but then you worked on it so then you received a higher score. See what I mean? You're saying you didn't do as well basically because you didn't prepare for it before. Hmm, you might have to word it a little more carefully.

Thats a good point above....You want to make sure it doesn't come off that way. Maybe mention that after taking it the first time you had a better idea of the specific areas your dyslexia made challenging in real test situations. That make sense?

Fair point- I've inserted this into the middle of it:
"After taking the exam for the first time, I was able to better understand what areas were challenging to me. In preparing for the October exam I worked daily to correct my mistakes by extensively practicing diagramming and reviewing conditional clauses, so that I would no longer inverse them. I also began to bubble all questions and practice exams I took."
I go on to say that I believe that therefore, my October score is more indicative of my abilities.
