Yeeeeahhh, this PS topic sounds like "I am insecure and timid and have never succeeded at anything in my life until the LSAT." Not exactly prime candidate material. You should be focusing on what makes you AWESOME, not your biggest flaws.
Also, not only does this portray you in a bad light, but it's not even particularly unique. I could say the same thing of myself, to some extent, and I'm sure there are hundreds of others who feel the same way.

Sorry, I don't think it's a good idea at all. Basically it says, "I'm such a perfectionist that I didn't do anything well," and then says, "I only try hard at stuff I'm naturally good at already."
To answer the topic question: not necessarily but probably, but in the way that you choose to address it: yes, absolutely.
edit: crumpets is also right... I expect that many splitters have similar experiences.

Yeah figured it was probably a bad idea, which is why I had never seen it used.
