I have had the same job for a few years now. I been working part time during the school year but full time during the summer. Can the summer work count as FT experience? Do I need to distinguish between the various amounts of hours worked on my resume?

I would consider that to be full time. If it asks specifically to denote hours worked/ full time /part time... just explain that the job was seasonally part time and seasonally full time.
