My entire PS is not about either. Which is is more worth mentioning?

PS's about debate have been done ad nauseum, so if the chess essay is personally significant and sheds light on you as a person, it is definitely the better choice

I agree that too many people write about debate experiences. Way too cliched and overdone. Of these 2, I would go with one about chess.
