Top Law Schools

When writing a Why U of ? optional essay does anyone have any tips, I want Upenn ideally because of location (my fiancé works in Philly) but also because it's a great school, advice? Also I'm looking at other schools with law and economics programs (fiancé will move to a city like DC and would even consider U of Mich) but how do I distinguish one great program from another in writing a compelling statement? Any help would be appreciated.

If you are interested in a particular field of law, I would look up courses, clinics, internship opportunities, etc. that that schools offers. I think they like to know that you have done your research and are not just applying solely based on rankings.

Thats my advice, but I haven't written a Why X? statement yet, so keep an eye out for others' advice too.
