Top Law Schools

I am on the 3rd draft of my personal statement and just dont seem to feel good about the topics I've chosen so far, which is why I keep rewriting it. However, this 3rd draft that I've been working on seems to be somewhat promising and I just wanted to see what you guys think about the topic and whether or not I should stick with it.

I have my bachelor's in accounting and a master's in tax and have been working with an accounting firm for the last 2 years so I started to write about my experience and basically showing how/why my background would make me a good candidate for law school and for becoming a corporate/tax lawyer.

Before I post my PS so you guys could rip it apart, I just wanted to see what everyone thinks about the topic. Please let me know.

There's really no such thing as a bad topic, only a badly-written essay. Some topics, naturally, are harder to write well.

That said, your topic sounds like it could be very easy to make into a boring rehash of your resume. If you find yourself listing more than one or two things from your resume, STOP. If there's no emotion, or you mention emotions only in passing without illustrating them convincingly, you are on the wrong track.

That's exactly why I am a bit afraid of this topic but I am trying to stay away from my resume and just write about my passion for what I have been doing so far and my passion for law. I will post it on here once I am done to get some feedback. Thank you!
