Probably not a good idea. Focus on something more flattering.

Do you mean like battling addiction and how it has affected your life and so on or just "I use to drink too much but now I don't" kind of thing?

Hey, at least that would be better than an "I was drunk last night and now I'm not" kind of thing...

I definitely wouldn't write about that unless you have to address criminal convictions.
