Two PS question

If it is relevant: is saying demeaning (but true) things of a celebrity a huge don't? Or is it a "be careful...but if its interesting do it" type of thing?

Is using an extended metaphor in a personal statement considered "unconventional" or considered "normal good writing" if it is a useful metaphor?

I can't imagine how insulting celebrities could be relevant, but I guess you could do it. It will depend entirely on how it's written, so tred carefully.

Definitely not unconventional. Definitely not required for it to be good writing. Again, success will depend on how it's written.

Write your PS, post it here and we will tell if you either one works.
