"At the conclusion of the second semester of my freshman undergraduate year at the University of Illinois in spring 2008, I was placed on academic probation for poor grades. I was on academic probation for only the following semester, fall 2008. I was required to meet a 2.25 grade point average minimum, which I did. Since I was removed from academic probation, my gradeshavetrended upwards. After I was place on academic probation, I changed my major from computer engineering to history. At the time I was also diagnosed with depression, and have since been taking anti-depressants and meeting with a therapist. With my improved mental state and new major I have enjoyed more academic success than I did 3 years ago when I was placed on academic probation."
During my second semester at the University of Illinois, I was diagnosed with depression. At the end of that semester, Spring 2008, I was placed on academic probation for falling below a X.XX GPA. The following semester, Fall 2008, I exceeded the required 2.25 GPA, and the probation was lifted.bdole2 wrote:Let me know if I need to add, remove, or edit anything. Thanks much!
