Do I need an addendum?

Maybe to explain the Absent if you have a good explanation, but keep it short and to the point... good job on the point increase.

It's borderline, (congrats) but unless you have a specific reason that is credible I would refrain personally

My mom had surgery and several biopsies to test for cancer that week. It was planned so I didn't expect it to affect me mentally but it did.
edit: I really don't want to write about it because I am already writing an addendum to explain my GPA trend. Last thing I want to do is come off as a whiner.
