PS, DS, or both?

I don't think I have enough to say to write both essays, so my options are mediocre PS + mediocre DS, or one really good Personal Statement that discusses why I want to go to law school and how I add to the diversity of the school in question.

Advice needed: does it look a lot better to separate the essays and turn it into a DS and find a new topic for my PS? Or can I just keep one really good PS and that's it?

I should add, I'm non-URM. And I hope you understood what I'm trying to say. Thanks.

i appreciate your last line.

i would chose the really good PS that illustrates why you want LS and how you add to the diversity of your school. as long as you get across those two points clearly and in a compelling way, you're set. mediocre PS and mediocre DS will be treated in a mediocre fashion.

best wishes.

agree with poster above here. send good ps. then work on a good (as good as you can manage) DS, and send only after WL.
