Is this appropriate to include in my personal statement?

I am currently in the process of writing my personal statement for my law school app. I am only applying to one law school because it is in the city where my husband is completing his medical residency. I would like to know if it would be considered inappropriate to include this information in my personal statement.
I am well qualified to attend the law school to which I am applying (based on undergrad GPA, grad degree, and LSAT score) and I think that it is likely that I will be accepted. However I want to know if it is appropriate to include that I am only applying to this school and no others. I would appreciate advice from people who know what they are talking about.
Thanks :)

If the school you're applying to has no ED program (Early Decision), then saying that you are only applying to their school is almost like you're already semi-committing yourself to them. If your numbers are in line with the school's medians, I would include it. If I were to put myself in the position of the admissions committee, it would seem like a strong statement of desire to attend. On the other hand, I am unsure as to whether the school can easily verify the veracity of your claim.

i agree with the above post to a certain extent, but at the same time, letting a school know that they are your only choice gives them a great deal of power--since there is no competition, there is no incentive to give you scholarship money. I feel this is def something to consider as law school is suppper expensive

granted, this is all my opinion/what i've read on this site..

If both your GPA and LSAT score are above median I wouldn't mention that it's the only school you're applying to.

omg, I could have written this post. Except the only applying to the one school part. I did include the fact that my husband's job ties us to this city for the duration of my potential ls career in my Why X paragraph in my PS.
