UCLA Personal Statement Question

Since UCLA requires 12 point font when everyone else requires 11, can I adjust my margins to .5 inches to accommodate my whole essay? Or is this not a loophole I should take advantage of? What do you guys think? Keep in mind I need to cut out literally 1/4-1/3 of my essay due to the font size switch if I have 1 inch margins...

Obviously a terrible decision. They dont want 12 point just because they love 12 point font... pm me and I'll cut off some of the pork....

You could probably get away with .8 margins. Also try Garamond as a font, it takes up less space than Times New Roman 8)
