Hey, quick question. I am only applying to the one law school in my state. They require a 'why U of X' statement. Should I mention that I am only applying to their law school, or does that give them an edge? Is it better to let them think I have other options? Thanks! Numbers: 158/3.2 Lsat top 25%, GPA bottom 25%.

I would not say that you are only applying to one school in your statement, as it gives them an edge and is restricting your options. I would also consider applying to additional schools so that you have a back-up plan should your first choice not work out as hoped.

Apply to similarly ranked schools for scholarship leverage.
