One sentence too long

My personal statement is one line too long. This is like 8 words or so, and believe it or not I simply can't find anything to remove to get it down (I have tried for a while now). Is this going to have a seriously negative on my applications?

You can find enough things to take out. I guarantee it. And if you can't, then post the thing and we can do it for you in a matter of minutes. No one's writing is so incredible as to be beyond the point of editing.

I do appreciate the reply, but at this point I'm more concerned with the impact one sentence too long will have. The problem is I didn't realize it was one sentence too long until after I posted it (I had worked on it in a different word processing software suite and when I moved it to something that could save in a format accepted by LSAC, it was one sentence too long, which I didn't notice). I've already submitted a couple with this version. Not many, but a few, and I'm curious as to the impact.

It is impossible for us to know, but I'd imagine the school would not look to kindly on you seemingly ignoring their request for a specific page limit. Think of the time limits they put on tests. You aren't allowed to keep writing past when time is called because it gives you an unfair advantage over the other students who stopped on time. This is a fairly analogous situation. Though I'm sure there are schools that will let it slide since it doesn't really cause them any harm to read the 8 extra words, so I wouldn't worry all too much

Thanks. I hope you're right. Very worried because I started by applying to my preferred schools, trying to get them out of the way first. Since I posted, I found a way to tweak it just enough to drop to the limit. So I was wrong. If only I had caught it before I submitted. I don't suppose there's anything I can do about it now?

have you tried decreasing the font size from 12 tto 11.5, or 11 to 10.5? that might do the trick, although I think 10.5 may be too small
