A dumb question I know, but, on a resume, a school wants me to list a few hobbies or areas of interest. One of those that I wish to include is running. Does it sound weird to say avid runner, or should I say avid jogger? I consider myself a runner, not a jogger.

For future reference, if this makes it into the "Hobbies and Extracurricular Activities" section of your resume for OCI, be prepared to talk a lot about the specifics of how avidly you run.

Depends entirely on the kind of shorts you wear. Do your shorts have a built in liner, and do you use this liner to avoid wearing undewear? if so, runner. If your nipples have ever bled, runner.

Its better if you list it in the form of a formal accomplishment IMO, like completing a major marathon. This was a HUGE interview discussion piece for me.

Haha, duly noted, sir.

I had i similar issue and said "recreational runner" and listed the various 10Ks, 5ks in which i had participated.

avid jogger is paradoxical...
it's like saying "hardcore chillin"

EDIT: Actually I chill pretty hardcore so nevermind

Damn, I should have written about running. I've only been doing it since I was 13.

Oh well, I'm already done with my PS on a different subject.
