Please answer the following questions in a personal statement. There is no minimum or maximum length required.
a) Your reasons for wanting to be a lawyer;
b) Your reasons for wanting to attend CUNY;
c) Your strengths;
d) Any academic honors;
e) Any economic, social, or other impediments that you have overcome in the course of your education or life;
f) If you worked in college or graduate school, you should discuss the effect of that work on your academic experience;
g) What does public interest mean to you?

Do they expect us to answer all of these questions with one essay? How can you do so while writing a cohesive story?

Either the answer is yes or they don't know how to use words.
Good luck.

c) Your strengths; If you answer A, I imagine you should hit C in the process.
d) Any academic honors; perhaps your academic honors are part of why you want to be a lawyer? or maybe you have none, then disregard
e) Any economic, social, or other impediments that you have overcome in the course of your education or life; HAVE YOU? if you have overcome no impediments, disregard
f) If you worked in college or graduate school, you should discuss the effect of that work on your academic experience;disregard if you do not have work that affect your experience
g) What does public interest mean to you? part of why you want to be a lawyer?

Although that looks like a lot of questions, it really boils down to asking you to write a basic PS. Depending on the individual, certain points will be touched on more.
