Top Law Schools

What is the general consensus on issues such as religion and politics? I've written (and edited, and edited again) my personal statement, and those are sort of the general themes. I've taken what I think to be a unique approach that shows off my skills in critical thinking and navigating diverse opinions, but am still leery of any unintended consequences of said theme.

I'd post it here, but it contains some things I don't want to be on the Internet for just anyone to see (namely, referencing my current job). Would anyone be willing to take a look via email/PM and provide your thoughts? I'm applying to Notre Dame, Fordham, and (most likely) Georgetown this year.

Hopefully your religious stance is not anti-Catholic or anti-Jesuit if you plan on applying only to Notre Dame, Fordham & Georgetown. It would be interesting to read of others' opinions or experiences on the effect of pro-abortion essays for Notre Dame applicants. Typically, political & religious essays are fine for law school application essays if done respectfully, but Notre Dame may be an exception (as would Pepperdine, BYU & Liberty).

CanadianWolf - DEFINITELY not anti-Catholic. I'm a Protestant, which is pretty strongly strongly asserted in the statement. And I'm actually leaning toward--or at least open to--Catholicism. That will most likely end up in my "Why ND" essay.
