Writing my ps for UVA right now, and I just wanted to get some input for length. Right now I'm probably looking at around 3 pages double spaced. Is that a too long? I get the feeling from this site that the 2 pages double spaced is ideal--is that a correct assumption?

FWIW I really don't have any long complicated life story that necessitates 3 pages. I'm just trying to include enough information to make me sound "I gotta admit this person" awesome.

Maybe you should concentrate all of your "gotta admit this person" awesomeness into a shorter, more powerful punch.
That is my gentle way of saying that your PS definitely sounds like it should be shorter.
